Jazz supper at Jesmond Dene House

CSSC Newcastle Area have reserved 20 seats for the Jazz supper night at Jesmond Dene House on Friday 27 June 2008.

Once a month, on a Friday evening, the Great Hall is turned into a little jazz club. There might be a band playing swing jazz, Latin American, something you can dance to or something cool and bluesy. Whatever, the aim is that you relax, forget work, chill out and enjoy a classic bistro supper.

Arrive 7.30pm onwards, live music from 9pm. Dress as casual as you like.

• Broccoli Soup with Goats Cheese Crostini
• Potted Craster Kippers
• Terrine of Rare Breed with Cornichons
• Roast Fillet of Cod, Crushed New Potatoes, Brown Butter and Capers
• Grilled Breast of Chicken with Puy Lentils, Crispy Bacon and Thyme Jus
• Parmesan Polenta with Butternut Squash, Portobello Mushrooms, Roquette Salad
• Apple and Blackberry Crumble, Clotted Cream and Custard
• Vanilla Cream with Autumn Berries
• Selection of British and French Farmhouse Cheeses

Due to the low number of places available, this offer is only open to members initially. If any places remain after Friday 29 February, members will be advised
they can invite guests. Price for members is £19.50 (full price without CSSC subsidy would be £37.50)
